Non esiste la reception e siamo subito
scortati alle ville dove si firma per
la registrazione. Facile, semplice.
Benvenuti in paradiso.
Il motoscafo scivola veloce sull’acqua turchese. Mano a
mano che ci si allontana dall’isola di Kaadedhdhoo, dove
siamo arrivati con il volo locale, il colore del mare vira al blu
intenso. La brezza scuote i teli antipioggia mentre lo staf ci
illustra il percorso. 50 minuti di crociera e si avvista l’isola.
Compatta, rotonda, verdissima. Le ville non si vedono tanto
essendo sepolte nella vegetazione.
Non esiste la reception e siamo subito scortati alle ville dove
si frma per la registrazione. Facile, semplice. Benvenuti in
paradiso. È infatti un luogo magico quello di Hudahaa, isoletta
sperduta a sud dell’arcipelago. Non è facile arrivarci ma poi
si è veramente “in the middle of nowere”. E qui la barriera
corallina è intatta. Qui si trovano una quantità di specie rare
e catalogate solo un gradino prima del processo di estinzione.
Arabelle, la biologa marina di stanza al resort, le conosce tutte
e con esemplare attenzione si prodiga perchè tutti gli ospiti

water. Little by little as we leave Kaadedhdhoo island where
we arrived on a local fight, the colour of the ocean turns to
an intense blue. The breeze agitates the rain covers while
the staf shows us the route. After a ffty minute cruise the
island appears. Compact, round, very green. The villas are
hidden by the vegetation.
There is no reception area and we are immediately
escorted to the villas where we register. Easy. Simple.
Welcome to paradise. Hudahaa, an isolated island in the
south of the archipelago, is, in fact, magical. It is not easy to
arrive there and one really is “in themiddle of nowhere”. And
here the coral reef is intact. Here one fnds a large quantity
of rare species which are catalogued just a step before the
process of extinction. Arabelle, the marine biologist at the
resort, recognises them all, and, with exemplary attention,
