nel 1885 e ricostruito l’anno seguente, ha infatti conservato,

ristorante Kurzaal propone una ricca scelta di
piatti. Per conoscere, in una cornice romantica
arricchita dalla terrazza con vista sull’Oceano,
la rafnata cucina francese si deve però far
tappa al ristorante Kandinsky. Il toccomoderno
caratterizzagli elaboratipiattipreparati, curando
la scelta dei prodotti, dall’Executive Chef Koos van Noort.
Il soggiorno a Scheveningen permette di scoprire infnite
spiagge di dune e vegetazioni. Se il clima non è sempre il più
adatto per l’abbronzatura è comunque ideale per rilassanti
passeggiate prima di tornare allo Steigenberger Kurhaus
Hotel: il simbolo con il quale si identifca la destinazione
balneare ieri come oggi.
It is the sea of the Hague and the Steigenberger Kurhaus
Hotel which relate the story of Scheveningen. The historic
building, opened in 1885 and rebuilt the following year, has,
in fact, preserved, adjacent to its location right on the ocean,
the unmistakable typically exterior Belle Époque architecture.
A real plunge into the epoch when the European aristocracy,
in the summer months, met in Scheveningen is ofered by
the imposing Kurzaal, the heart of the hotel. The paintings in
the grand dome, dating back to 1904, relate in allegories, the
happenings of this village of fshermen, transformed at the
beginning of the eighteen hundreds into an elegant European
destination. The prestige of the Kurhaus,
however, does not stop in history.
The hotel today ofers in its rooms and

to discover Scheveningen with its summer
swimming, which is certainly diferent from
that of the Mediterranean. The Kurhaus
Hotel is certainly the right address for
those in search of a sophisticated cuisine.
The restaurant Kurzaal proposes a rich
selection of dishes. To get to know - in a
romantic setting enhanced with a terrace
and an ocean view - the refned French
cuisine, one must visit the restaurant Kandinsky. A modern
touch characterises the elaborate dishes prepared by Executive
Chef Koos van Noort, who scrupulously selects his products.
The stay at Scheveningen permits one to discover the infnite
beach with dunes and vegetation. Although the climate is not
the most suitable for a tan, it is ideal for relaxing strolls before
returning to the Steigenberger Kurhaus Hotel, the symbol with
which to identify a bathing establishment yesterday as today.
